March 19, 2009 - Web Development through the Common Screen Resolution

Each time you make a different layout or web design, this may have varying looks in every screen and browser. Although there are designers who work hard to match the screen resolution of every computer setting, this cannot be done. In web development, to get the most pleasing output when designing a webpage, adhering to the common screen resolution of 1024x768 is the best way to go (See most common screen resolutions). This setup does not only guarantee easy transition to different frames and screen pixels, but will also make it easier for a designer to match margins and indentations when conceptualizing a new layout.

Web usability is also characterized by the optimum performance of your web layout. A particular online software can provide you with the best design for any webpage, however, with the wrong resolution, the end result may be worthless. To make things easier and more practicable, it is best to use the most common resolution of all. The 1024x768 screen resolution can diversify itself to different sizes, regardless if the one looking at the webpage is using big company monitors. When experts say that web development must be optimized, this means initiating a liquid layout for your design. The 1024x768 screen size guarantees initial visibility so as to avoid unfriendly navigation of pages and construction. You can judge this setting by knowing the ratio between the number of items displayed versus the intricate details posted for each category. No matter what screen size the page is being looked at, the layout must still guarantee readability and comprehension. It would be quite pointless to stress yourself in making a grand layout without anyone being able to read its contents. Finally, the overall aesthetics or output of your design must transcend well in all screen sizes. Whether it contains complex elements and massive media add-ons, this must work without the trouble of grainy images and low loading timeframe.

A lot of people merely consider the availability of browser selection, without targeting the main concern of producing a versatile design for all computers and browsers. Although it is a fact that browsers have a huge effect on how web designs are displayed, the concept of screen resolutions weigh heavier in terms of overall effect. There are also notable mechanism that has been placed for codes and scripts to display web layout perfectly in all browser types. Most internet browsers rely on different interfaces and toolbars, thereby making their applications adjustable in most settings. However, although browsers have versatile features, it is still best to employ a common ground to generate the most pleasing effects on your layouts. A web layout’s screen resolution must always work for small and big images so as not to compromise the quality of files being uploaded. This is where a liquid design becomes more viable to provide balance in the webpage, making it easier for both a web programmer and an outsider to view a site perfectly with all its features combined. Optimize the art of web development now by making your designs through the common screen resolution.

1280 by 800 is very close to the top, so testing for this resolution is as important as testing for 1024x768

Thank you for your comment about our site.
Our content area is 940 + gradients on both sides that makes it little wider then 1024. In this case visitor can see whole content in 1024X768 scrolling little to the right. This little inconvenience allows making site more visually appealing for bigger screen resolutions.
